The next batch of Street Fighter 6 will apparently be Tifa, Vega, Haggar & Gouken. Yes, you read that right, Tifa from Final Fantasy VII. However, caution is advised as Capcom has a habit of putting out fake information to find out who is leaking stuff internally.

Blame Maximillian Dood he’s been pushing it like crazy. Really hate the guy the influence he has. He wanted Clive in Tekken, he wanted Tifa in Tekken, he wanted Cloud and Sephiroth in Smash, he wants Cloud in Granblue. In his eyes he doesn’t realize how out of touch he is. Ed Boon is the same with the NRS games packing it with 80’s and 90’s nostalgia guests. Max even had the audacity to say the FGC is better than ever and fighting games have never sold as well that they don’t need a “new” audience even though he was only brought into give feedback to bring in the casuals and “new” audience. Typical old man just doesn’t like what younger people like and knows he will be pushed out. He even trying to stop Injustice 3 from happening same way he tried to get Sparking Zero to tank despite not liking any of these franchises just needs fighting games to consult on. Thankfully he has nothing to do with Fatal Fury outside parasiting on it for content and hopefully he stays far away from Dead Or Alive. My guess Virtua Fighter 6 is cancelled given Sega budget cuts and their reccent engine switch from Dragon to UE5.

Dead Or Alive 7 may be safe from that and I honestly think a new Def Jam or spiritual successor is happening so 100% NO FF guests. Fatal Fury could be safe too really hoping we get Kid Goku in that another Shonen Jump guest would be awesome like Luffy or Naruto too hype. If Injustice 3 happens you’ll be safe too but I hope there’s no third party guests or MK guests really hoping it’s only Ben 10 guests. Tekken you may be screwed if Tifa is here I think Cloud is in Tekken.
I really thought we would get Tifa in Tekken! She was probably one of the most requested 3rd party characters.
Not sure on that but yes everyone thought she would be the last character of Season 3. Now it raises the question who is the final character? Is she in both? I mean she really wouldn’t spark interest back in the game. Yujiro Hanma would be best but at this point not sure anything saves that game. Bandai is better off pulling the plug and with Harada fired it seems, it’s best assumed Tekken is done with 8 so maybe a Season 4 but that could be it. Shimbori left before him and that raised flags.
Why Tifa? I guess street fighter doesn’t have swords in it, so Cloud and Sephiroth would be out, but I feel like barret would be cooler.
Because Tifa is the only martial artist in the FF7 party and Barret primarily uses ranged weapons and guns, which wouldn’t suit SF.

That’s what I said! I just thought barret could come if he didn’t use his gun, like he did uppercuts and stuff. I know swords and guns aren’t really in Street fighter, but like I thought they could make a acception for barret and just change his moves.

Who is the final Season 3 Tekken 8 character then? Could it be Cloud or maybe Tifa in both? Harada implied they could have more than 1 Final Fantasy guest after Clive and he did work on Season 3 before leaving. Honestly have no interest in it. Hopefully Kid Goku from OG Dragon Ball is in Fatal Fury City Of The Wolves that would be great him and Kenshiro, maybe it’s Kinnikuman?

Tekken Tifa stans blaming Bandai Namco it’s not their fault it’s Harada and Michael blame them! They put Clive in and wasted the budget on other trash like the Nike collab and Chipotle collab or the e-sports trash and tried to get Colonel Sanders in Tekken 8…. that’s how crazy they are. But people want to revise history pretending Harada was some godsend, he Did NOT create Tekken he didn’t become a key figure until Tekken 3 and did not become the sole lead until Tekken 6 or 7. He is to blame for that NOT Bandai they gave him the money. Now we have to wonder if true who is the last character of Tekken 8 season 3? Is it a guest?
