While the hype has naturally died down somewhat for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie it has managed to produce big numbers in the United States. So far the joint project between Nintendo and animation studio Illumination has made $419.72M in the USA alone. Viewing figures were down 24% from the previous Tuesday, but that’s to be expected considering the movie made its debut in cinemas on 1st April. All eyes will now be on how well The Super Mario Galaxy Movie performs on digital storefronts.
