Reliable retail leaker Billbil-kun has released some more details regarding the recently rated Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition. Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 on 23rd June which is coincidentally Sonic the Hedgehog’s birthday. The Definitive Edition of Sonic’s 3D adventure will be available both physically and digitally on the Nintendo Switch 2 and will retail for $49.99. SEGA has yet to confirm the existence of this product.

Depends on the console. On the original switch it’s 30 fps while more modern hardware it runs at 60 fps.
Yes. PS5 and Series X runs on 60FPS. The Switch runs on 30FPS.

It does sound like a separate game rather than an upgrade pack. Maybe there would be a lot more changes to the definitive edition, but who knows.
