The Pokemon TCG craze continues with The Pokemon Company stating that a staggering 10 billion Pokemon cards were printed in the last year alone. This means that 11.7% of all Pokemon cards that have been produced were actually printed this year. Scalping of Pokemon cards is extremely common and The Pokemon Company has said that it is considering the use of government ID checks in Japan to eliminate it.
