Wo Long, the fast-paced souls-like which takes place in ancient China, is getting a sequel from Koei Tecmo and its destined for the Nintendo Switch 2. Wo Long 2: Wings of Ruin was showcased during the Xbox Game Showcase and it is coming early 2027. Check out the trailer down below.

You see the director of Dead Or Alive 5 and 6 Yohei Shimbori is directing Last Ronin, he joined Platinum. Shimbori left Tekken 8 team at Bandai Namco before Harada in 2025.
Yeah they have to and I hope it’s Platinum or Shift Up with Yuya Takahashi and the Geats team writing. Team Ninja just released Nioh 3 this year now Wo Long 2 next year and Rise Of Ronin, Wo Long 1, and Ninja Gaiden 2 Black this gen. They only have 2 teams the action team and support no fighting game people so hopefully it’s outsourced to Platinum. Funny now Shimbori is over there directing Last Ronin. People need to support Ninja Gaiden 4 and it needs a Switch 2 port. Hope we get SNK guests and Stellar Blade guests also Gina Carano done in DOA art style.
