Star Fox is finally out today on the Nintendo Switch 2 and the reviews have been very encouraging. Now that the game is out the voice cast has been announced, thanks to the in-game credits which appear upon competition. Fox McCloud is voiced by Hunter McCoy who has voiced characters in Genshin Impact and various anime series such as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. I am surprised that they didn’t tell the VA’s to redo some of the lines, in the original there’s a few differences where the battle cries sound more authentic/better and funnier.
I wonder why they deviated a bit there. A lot of the music sounds good though I guess.
Griffin Puatu is the reason I will not play this game in English. I dislike Hop from pokemon and I don’t want to think about him playing star fox so I’ll play in Japanese.
Oh cool! They had a male voice Slippy. No wonder he was so likeable in the direct. And I don’t mind that they had a person of color voice Falco. Falco seems pretty black codded to me.
Looks like a lot of games now are picking up lesser-known VAs, or at least ones I’m not familiar with. I like that they’re giving these guys more chances to be in big things.
