Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has revealed that over 800,000 people have now been to the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto, Japan, since it opened to the general public in October 2024. The Museum features a number of fun and interesting interactive attractions including giant oversized controllers and retro consoles which are fully playable and also a luxurious cafe to relax in.
“We opened Nintendo Museum in October 2024. More than one year has passed, and as of the end of April 2026, over 800,000 people had visited. We believe Nintendo Museum provides a good opportunity for visitors to encounter the products and other items Nintendo has released over the years.”
