Final Fantasy VII Revelation sounds like it is going to deliver on the spectacle that players expect from the final part of the Final Fantasy VII remake series. Cloud Strife’s English voice actor Cody Christian has said that it is going to be an emotional game and that there are moments when you will be sobbing and he is really confident about how the trilogy is wrapping up. Final Fantasy VII Revelation launches on Nintendo Switch 2 and other formats next spring.
“There are moments in this that if you haven’t cried in the first two yet, I guarantee you’ll be sobbing in this third one,” he adds. That’s a rather large claim to make, but then, I’m not expecting much less.
Super excited for this game and the wrap up for the trilogy over all. I’ve really enjoyed playing these games, not all the changes are what I personally would have wanted but even still the overall packages have been very solid and enjoyable for me
Well judging from the reactions that I watched of the end of rebirth, I don’t think they can top that amount of sobbing. I just really hope they don’t screw it up and bring her back like physically. It’s a crucial part of the game for a reason. That’s why it’s stuck with us in the first place and she’s very important as she is. I just hope they know when to leave well enough alone.
Their might be a little sobbing just like other games and films had but it won’t be much base on the reaction by fans.

I can’t wait as soon as preorders hit steam I will get it. This is one of the few games that I can’t wait to play. I have only bought a few games this last year and this year at full price.

You can’t pay me to pre-order Revelations. Rebirth proved how idiotic SE is handling this Remake franchise, proof of it being a botched mess was is poor sales performance, especially compared to Remake. There’s a private group I’m part of keenly tracking everything Revelation, and it’s a LOT of hobbyist artists and devs there that have taken on an interesting challenge of writing and creating their own ending, if this is a bust, and its a shame that I’m more excited to see what fans create for an ending, than the canon product. So let’s see what SE decided to do. I’ll be watching streamers first, to see how this trilogy ends. Then I’ll decide if the game is worth a shit.

This “Remake” they have been doing has ultimately been a bust. It was neat seeing everybody in HD and the story being told that way for a time, but the moment they went outside of the bounds of the original game, it felt like bloated fanfiction. I find it impossible to replay either game in this trilogy with all the garbage that’s been thrown into it. I have tried. But I have replayed the original game like 3 or more times since Part 1 and have only grown to love it more. I just look at that game, wondering how much better a proper remake would be and its sad knowing this will never happen.
Revelations is honestly a game I may not even buy. I’m that gassed out from this nonsense and I usually stick around even when its a weird Frankenstein of a game like 13. I guess having to endure 3 50 plus hour games of one story has a lot to do with my fatigue. Way to go Square. You made nearly every wrong decision with this trilogy and nobody really cares about it anymore. You’ve shrunk your audience to a fraction of what it was.
The remake has surpassed the original. Nostalgia blinds you.
