Mario Kart Tour proved to be an entertaining Mario Kart game for both iOS and Android devices, but its time in the spotlight is coming to an end. Nintendo has now written an end of service post for Mario Kart Tour and says that the mobile Mario Kart game will come to an end on 29th September at 11pm PT. Nintendo thanked players for its support of the title.
We sincerely thank the many players who have loved and supported the game since service began so long ago. Thank you for playing Mario Kart Tour.

Sonic crossworlds next in line
Sonic Crossworlds just announced DLC besides it can never “shut down” because it has offline functionality.
It’s sad to see it go, but I am happy it’s preserved through the booster course expansion.
Fell bad for the people that spent $30 on Diddy Kong and hundreds of more on other content in the game.
Been playing since day one, every day. This is your bread and butter game. Makes no sense.

What is worse, Nintendo has no plans for making an offline version of Mario Kart Tour after its shutdown.
That’s the part that bothers me. They figured one out for that Animal Crossing mobile game, why not this one too?
I think they made the booster course pass for Mario kart 8 to preserve the courses in Mario kart tour.
