Adventures of Elliot Version 1.1.0 allows you to turn off character support voice

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is by all accounts an extremely solid JRPG, but one of the gripes that has stayed with the game since its first demo on the Nintendo Switch 2 is the fact that your companion just keeps on talking. Square Enix did add an option to reduce the amount of talking Faie does, but now the team have taken this one step further and have added an option to turn off Faie’s advice entirely. Here;’s the Version 1.1.0 patch notes:

Version 1.1.0 Release Notice

  • Adds an option to turn off support character voice
  • Adjusts tutorial behavior
  • Fixes FPS drops on some PC setups when Faie is present
  • Minor bug fixes

  1. they should have added this from the beginning, they already knew people hated faie talking constantly.
they introduce the princes with a beautifull and calm voice and switch her around with an annoying little ….

lowering how much she talks doesn’t do much, i had to mute all voices after hearing faie for 30 min

    1. Yeah. I liked the princess, but the fairy gets pretty annoying.
I don’t like the voice or how much she talks. And she has lots of empty text.

  2. I haven’t minded Faie. But if I do a second playthrough eventually I’ll appreciate this option since I’ll have heard it all already.

  3. I hate all voice acting. It inflates costs and game file sizes (literally, this is why GKC). It sounds bad 95% of the time, and most modern games have 5th grade writing at best.
