The next Season of popular multiplayer game Fortnite could be a big one as it is rumoured to be a gaming legends-themed Season. While the full details have yet to be unveiled by Epic Games, it’s believed to feature Sonic, Megaman, Crash Bandicoot, Kingdom Hearts, and other established IPs. Fortnite is available on the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch via the eShop.

Hear me out, but I feel like we are going to get FF7 characters in Fortnite. It just makes sense to promote. FF7 revolutions by adding cloud and other characters to Fortnite.
Depends on how stubborn and prideful Square Enix winds up being. They released a failed battle royale set within the FF universe a few years back, so if Cloud is added to Fortnite people will make comparisons to that.
Many of these don’t make sense using guns or Kamehameha but it’s hilarious AF.
I think having Sonic being playable in Fortnite will not make sense at all if they make him run at his normal speed instead of his signature speed while playing the game. Plus, Sonic might have to used a robot machine since the Fortnite proportions are the same height as adults but he is not. I think Sonic Man from Sonic 06 would fit great for a Sonic skin.
It would only work if it’s sonic from 3D blast or Labyrinth.
Good to see modern gaming platforms getting the classics…
