Last year, select songs from the wonderful Donkey Kong Bananza were added to the evergrowing Nintendo Music library. However, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers may have been disappointed that much of the iconic soundtrack was not included. Nintendo doesn’t do this without reason, as some new soundtrack releases feature heavy spoilers, and are delayed to give enough people the chance to play the game. However, with today being the one year anniversary of the Switch 2 exclusive title, now feels like the perfect time to add it, and if you have still yet to play, a spoiler-prevention feature can be enabled in the settings of the app. 229 more tracks have been added, over 8½ hours of music, now including the catchy Bananza Transformations, tunes from the DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC, and more from the base game. Nintendo Music recently received a major update for iOS and Android devices, alongside a dedicated website for listening in a web browser.

I wonder if that’s the rest of the tracks from the game, or if there are any still missing, I haven’t checked yet. I liked a lot of the game’s music- all the Bananza transformation tunes, the challenge zone themes, Frozen layer, Food layer, Beach layer…
Das ist ein schönes Update für alle Fans von Donkey Kong Bananza. Viele haben sich schon länger gewünscht, dass der komplette Soundtrack in Nintendo Music verfügbar wird, und pünktlich zum ersten Jahrestag ist es nun endlich so weit. Mit über 200 zusätzlichen Titeln gibt es jede Menge Musik zum Entdecken. Gut finde ich auch, dass Nintendo weiterhin auf Spoiler achtet und dafür eine entsprechende Funktion in der App anbietet. So können sowohl neue als auch langjährige Spieler den Soundtrack in ihrem eigenen Tempo genießen.
Ich finde auch, dass das ein gelungenes Update ist. Gerade bei einem Spiel mit so einem starken Soundtrack ist es schön, endlich alle Stücke an einem Ort hören zu können.
