Nintendo has released Version 1.6.0 of the Nintendo Music app on iOS and Android devices. The update adds support for devices with larger screens (i.e. iPads), as well as the ability to use Apple CarPlay (including Siri functionality) and/or Android Audio so you can safely search and swap between tracks while driving. Additionally, a dedicated Nintendo Music website has been created so you can browse and listen to the entire music library on a computer directly from your web browser of choice.
Alongside the update, one of the most requested Nintendo Switch 2 soundtracks, Mario Kart World (2025), has also been added to the service (free for Nintendo Switch Online members). While the entire OST hasn’t been made available yet, still missing the Free Roam tracks (planned to be added via updates), 130 songs are included, with a total runtime of over 4 hours. Curated playlists this time around are for Battle Modes, Free Roam with Super Mario Kart, and the usual Extended-Playback Collection, which allows you to listen to select tracks with a seamless loop.

Oh my gosh!!! I am so happy to finally see mario kart world added with support for pc.
I guess it finally happened!
I finally got to use Nintendo Music via my laptop.
I have to say… I thought there would be more? I mean, there’s some good stuff but I feel like I’ve seen a lot of “X game has been added to Nintendo Music” articles but the culmination is not as great as I would have expected.
Crazy how Mario Kart World wasn’t added until now. I wish they’d do the entire soundtrack, though
