Known retail leaker Billbil-kun has provided some new information for the soon-to-be-announced Rayman Legends Retold. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will be a Game-Key Card and will include a copy of Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition. Billbil-kun has also said that Rayman Legends Retold will feature a couch co-op mode (not online) The game is expected to be revealed later today, presumably during the State of Play event at 10pm UK time.

Ewww, key-card.
Didn’t Legends already feature couch co-op? I have the Wii U version but never played it (I keep deluding myself into thinking I have friends to come over and play through it with me).
Yes, Legends already had co-op. You should play the game, you are missing out.
OOOHHH THIS IS A REALLY GOOD DEAL I LOVE THIS. 2 in one is amazing I would have never expected that. I wonder if Origins is included as a download code or if this is a multi-cart?
God, what a worthless system the switch 2 is becoming when the 3rd party stuff on the original switch fits on a game card fine, but the same game on the 2 is on a key. Lazy/cheap ass companies, i swear.
It’s Nintendo being cheap asses and overcharging for hardware again. Like Apple.
Weren’t the origins levels already in rayman legends?
There was a selection of levels from Origins but not the whole game by any means
When a game is announced as a Key Card, I just wipe it from my memory because I dont consider Game Key Cards real games and only hope the worst for all the large Companies that use them. They’d still profit plenty using real Cartridges. These Companies have no soul and will make as much money as they can and cut everything that they can, companies usually go up and rarely back down by choice. Many have already spoken on how they wish both physical media were gone along with even how current day downloadable games are to be gone. They don’t want you to pay once for a downloadable game, they want you to keep paying. Anyway giving up physical cartridges for key cards is just another stepping stone like when they stop including instruction manuals. Funny enough, many indie games are doing fully physical with manuals as well. Guess its too much for mom and pop Ubisoft, Sega, Square, and Capcom.
