A leaker who leaked The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake and the upcoming double Nintendo Direct before NateTheHate has said that work is currently underway on a new Super Smash Bros game and Nintendogs game for the Nintendo Switch 2. The leaks from malo932 have all appeared in random YouTube comments and have recently been discovered. Perhaps we will hear more during the Nintendo Direct on Wednesday.

Smash Brothers I understand, I mean ever since the N64, we’ve had a Smash Game for every home console (And the one time we had a 3DS port, which I think was the gateway to the Switch Smash Bros).
The thing that interests me is Nintendogs getting a revival on the Switch 2, which is odd because we’ve hadn’t had a Nintendogs game since the 3DS and the idea of a version of the game on Switch 2 is interesting. I just hope they stick to the Pet Sim style of gameplay instead of shoving in some Open World element for no reason.
Both Nintendogs and a new Smash would definitely be something for the general Direct. We would be getting more Smash games than mainline 3D Mario games at this point, unless the Direct prioritizes 3D Mario, that is.
