Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse runs at 30fps on Nintendo Switch

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is just around the corner and fans have high expectations of the first new mainline entry in the Castelvania series for a while. Today, Konami has confirmed via its official website that the Nintendo Switch version will run at 30fps, as opposed to 60fps on other platforms. A Nintendo Switch 2 version of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse has yet to be announced.

  1. Konami, this is a 2d platformer, the switch shouldn’t be struggling that hard with this. We seriously need an upgrade path for this that runs at 60 fps.

  2. I’m really looking forward to this game, but I think I’m gona hold out for a switch 2 version, I’m mean surely it’ll happen, I suppose if you buy the switch version you’ll probably get a free switch 2 update eventually, but I would like a true physical switch 2 version.
    I will purchase this game on release if they do like team cherry did with silksong and it costs around £17 and then il buy a physical later, but no doubt they’ll want £40 off the bat. ( no pun intended)
