Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is just around the corner and fans have high expectations of the first new mainline entry in the Castelvania series for a while. Today, Konami has confirmed via its official website that the Nintendo Switch version will run at 30fps, as opposed to 60fps on other platforms. A Nintendo Switch 2 version of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse has yet to be announced.
- Frame Rate 60 fps (Nintendo Switch™: 30 fps)

Konami, this is a 2d platformer, the switch shouldn’t be struggling that hard with this. We seriously need an upgrade path for this that runs at 60 fps.
I’m really looking forward to this game, but I think I’m gona hold out for a switch 2 version, I’m mean surely it’ll happen, I suppose if you buy the switch version you’ll probably get a free switch 2 update eventually, but I would like a true physical switch 2 version.
I will purchase this game on release if they do like team cherry did with silksong and it costs around £17 and then il buy a physical later, but no doubt they’ll want £40 off the bat. ( no pun intended)
Are free Switch 2 upgrades a thing? They normally charge you for em don’t they?
Actually there are plenty of free upgrades. I can name a few.
Hollow knight: silksong
Hollow knight
Hades 2
Mina the hollower
Dreamlight valley
Tales of the shire
Subnautica
Subnautica below zero
Brotato
Stardew valley
Dispatch
Dave the Diver
Ball x pit
No mans sky
And technically Deltarune, but that just gives you two copies of the game, no matter which version you buy.
the Switch 2 version will be a worthess GKC so just buy the one made for the 2017 console and be happy
