Final Fantasy VII: Revelation open world will be much bigger than Rebirth

Square Enix has revealed that the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII: Revelation will have a much larger open world than the one found in Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. However, the team has been working hard to make sure that players do not feel overwhelmed by it all saying that Final Fantasy VII: Revelation guides players naturally to interesting places and activities without making exploration annoying and frustrating.

  1. As a new player to these remakes on Switch 2, I have to say that I much preferred the more linear gameplay style of Remake than the open world of Rebirth. It’s obvious that they would go even more in the open direction with the third game though.

    1. I enjoyed remake a bit on switch 2
Rebirth has been enjoyable, and I’ve gotten quite far in it, but it’s noticeable in certain areas that the hardware is more restrictive.
I might try to get revelation on PC unless the port on switch 2 is miraculous

    1. 6 years since FF7:Remake first released. But 11 years since it’s original announcement (E3 of 2015).

Now, If you want to get crazy with it, it’s been 22-23 years since the rumors of the remake first started, and 21 years since the PS3 tech demo was shown off at E3 of 2005 lol

It’s been a hell of a long ride for is FF7 fans.
