The long-rumoured The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Nintendo Switch 2 system along with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller designs have now leaked online. There’s remarkably clear shots of the packaging for both the Nintendo Switch 2 system and the Pro Controller which will presumably accompany the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time remake which launches later this year. Pricing and release date have yet to be revealed.

Upon initial glance I got really excited and was thinking this was going to be an expensive November for me, but looking more closely there’s some design choices that don’t make sense, or rather they seem “off” as if ai generated. If you zoom in on the pro controller box’s 3 triangles next to the triforce emblem it looks like a child drew it free hand. The spacing is off and just looks bad. And then the top part of the triforce itself the design looks unfinished with the border just ending rather than being connected.
Yeah I was going to say there is no logo or name for the title. Like I don’t think the box is just going to have the trifkrce with no name or anything
That looks sick, but the green looks off. It feels like it should be brighter to match the 40th anniversary logo.

I think it looks nice. I especially like the back of the controller with the 8Bit Link shooting out a sword beam.
What part about it makes you think it looks bad? If you don’t mind me asking.
Because the Hylian eagle crest is chopped up by a bunch of triangles, which doesn’t make the crest look good at all. I don’t think Nintendo would do that to the icon itself. And the plain triangles, there’s just an overload of them. It takes away from the triforce and is not a subtle touch. Better design would definitely find a balance for everything to be distinct and balanced, especially if there’s going to be a sprawling pattern. Nintendo can do better than those
Is it just the joycons and dock, or is the Switch 2 shell special too? That would be the deciding factor for me
