Development studio Pearl Abyss has been trying to get Crimson Desert up and running on the Nintendo Switch 2 and have stated that they would only bring the game over to the platform if it was in a satisfactory state. Now the company has said in its earnings letter that they have it up and running on Nintendo’s latest platform and they are in the process of fully optimising it. Pearl Abyss said that they plan to release Crimson Desert on the Nintendo Switch 2 in the first half of next year.
“In the case of Switch 2, the game has reached a playable baseline, and we are currently conducting technical reviews regarding performance optimization and quality standard compliance, targeting a release in the first half of next year.”
