It would have been extremely unlikely that we wouldn’t get a new Hogwarts Legacy game as the original sold over 40 million copies worldwide. Today, Warner Bros has officially confirmed that the second instalment of Hogwarts Legacy is in development. No further information was revealed regarding a release window or formats, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out more.
“We expect Games to more meaningfully contribute to segment profitability going forward as our pipeline expands, including the second installment of Hogwarts Legacy,” the letter continued, confirming the game in an official capacity for the first time.

The game is crazy popular, multi-plat, and goes on super steep discount often. I’ve bought it twice myself, PS5 and Steam. 😅
It’s funny that this game has been enjoyable for many Harry Potter fans including myself since it sold that much copies in one year. I hope the sequel gets ported to the Switch 2 system so we can see how well it performed for 4K graphics.

Not gonna lie to you sickr but this was mentioned before one year ago by the team behind the first game.
Yall just started development? Why didnt yall start the sequel immediately after the first one was complete? So basically because they didnt make the game immediately it will be years before the game is available and will have to pay $1000+ just to play the sequel because you will need a PS6. PS2 and Gamecube were the best generation. I miss them days when Rockstar make 4 GTAs under PS2 and Capcom made 4 Resident Evils under Gamecube. You didnt have to buy a console per sequel like you do today.
