Mario Tennis Fever has received a software update on Nintendo Switch 2. Bringing the arcade-style tennis game to Version 1.1.1, the patch notes are quite minor compared to the last update released in July, which added new Super Mario Galaxy-themed content. This latest update only makes a small change so that when you press the Flat shot button twice when returning a high ball, it produces a Star Shot instead of a Powerful Flat like before, even if no Star Point is present on the court. Additionally, a bug was fixed where Amps placed with the Amp Racket would sometimes disappear before intended.

Can we get another update that adds new content soon? That black hole racket is so much fun to use, we need more crossover stuff like that. Hopefully we get a sunshine or donkey Kong themed update.

La mise à jour 1.1.1 de Mario Tennis Fever est assez légère, mais elle corrige tout de même quelques détails intéressants. Le changement principal concerne le retour d’une balle haute : en appuyant deux fois sur le bouton de frappe à plat, on déclenche désormais un Star Shot, même lorsqu’aucun Star Point n’est présent sur le terrain, au lieu d’un Powerful Flat.
Nintendo corrige également un bug lié à l’Amp Racket, qui pouvait faire disparaître les Amps placés trop tôt.
