Metroid: Ravenous launches January 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2

The next 2D Metroid game, Metroid: Ravenous, has been announced for Nintendo Switch 2 in the latest Nintendo Direct, launching 28th January 2027. Two new amiibo figures of Samus and the Chozo Statue, as well as a special edition that includes a physical copy of the game, a SteelBook, and a third exclusive amiibo of Samus in her Metroid Suit, will also be made available on release day.   1. Best thing from the Direct today. I just wonder if this is technically Metroid 6- I didn’t see that anywhere in the trailer (like how Dread was first presented as Metroid 5) but since the Metroid Suit from the end of Dread appears, I’m pretty sure this is.

  2. Awesome. Dread was great and this looks even more epic.

    And apparently it was leaked beforehand so I’m so glad I didn’t see that.
