Nintendo has announced that Mario Kart World is getting a free update today that brings classic courses from Super Mario Kart. These are coming to Vs Mode and there will be ten tracks. That’s not all as two new Knockout Tour courses will be available in the update arriving today.

This is a really dope idea. I like that Nintendo is on this “making the old new again” thing. Lots of older content that could be reused for new stuff. Oot remake is fantastic. Retro level for mkw dope!
I wonder if every future update that adds Knockout Tour rallies will include other goodies as well, like how the SNES throwback tracks are with this one. I’m still hoping for additional characters and costumes for current ones- DK still only having two is just disrespectful.
Once they add the last knockout tour rallies, we will get DLC for the game next year. Hopefully we wouldn’t wait too long.
