Not only has Fire Emblem: Awakening jumped straight into the UK charts at number three, but the game’s release has also seen a considerable increase for the Nintendo 3DS console sales. The latest RPG strategy based game has given the 3DS a boost in sales by a staggering 49%. Of course, this is partly due to the limited edition 3DS XL bundle launched alongside the popular title, which accounted for 31% of all UK hardware sales last week. Did you pick up Fire Emblem: Awakening over the weekend?
Wow, Nice!
I´ve got my copy of this game a week ago… and it´s just awesome

there needs to be more colors on the xl, black or silver maybe even green!!
Impressive. Seems there is some true gamers in the UK after all.
‘kicks a soccer ball at your junk’
XD
yet nobody makes a big deal over this….
u people do have a soul in the uk
Usually it’s just shooters and Fifa that sell in the UK. Glad Fire Emblem Awakening is doing well.
Another article that’s entirely useless due to the fact that we don’t see any absolute numbers. 49%, huh? That could mean the number of 3DSs sold in the UK was at 15,000,000 as well as it could mean the number was at 15. I don’t even understand why something like this gets posted as “news” when it’s nothing but a pointless bunch of words.
