Fire Emblem: Awakening Debuts At Number Three In UK Chart

fire_emblem_awakening_logoExploding into the UK charts after its release on April 19, Fire Emblem: Awakening for the Nintendo 3DS is certainly standing its ground. It was pipped to the post by its tough competitors Injustice: Gods Among Us – which is to be released for the Wii U in Europe later this week – and Bioshock Infinite. In fact, Fire Emblem even bested Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon by debuting two places higher than our favourite green-suited plumber, which originally climbed in at number 5. But Luigi is still hanging in the top 10, taking a firm footing in at number 8. Here’s the lowdown on the all-formats chart:

Top 10 UK All-Formats Chart

1. Injustice: Gods Among Us

2. Bioshock Infinite

3. Fire Emblem: Awakening

4. Tomb Raider

5. Defiance

6. FIFA 13

7. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2

8. Luigi’s Mansion 2

    1. this game is awesome, like.. really awesome.
its a tactical game which really make you think twice before moving your units, since once the unit dies, it will die permanently, no respawn or whatsoever (this can be changed by playing the “casual” gameplay).

the voice acting are great, english and japanese voice actors fits the the character perfectly and we can even build relationships between character to boost up stats while pairing and even have children.

if you’re a fan of a tactical game, this game is a must.
      best fire emblem so far.

    2. Pitfall near your door

If you don’t know what to do then play the demo in the Eshop first to see if it is a game for you, to me it’s one of the best in the series and it looks really epic on the 3D screen! Play the demo first to test it out. :)

  1. Thoroughly deserved! Never been a fan of tactical RPGs before but this game is incredible. Easily the best game on the 3DS :’)

  3. I bought the limited edition fire emblem 3DS XL here in the UK, I’ve never played a fire emblem game until now but I’m loving it and the limited edition 3DS XL is also great. If you are in europe and looking to upgrade from 3DS to 3DS XL or just buy a 3DS XL in general then this is the bundle to get.
