European fans of the Etrian Odyssey franchise can rest easy now that NIS America has confirmed both a physical and digital release of the latest instalment. Though the press release lacked a specified date, Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl will release some time next year. Plus, just like North America, Europe will be able to experience the dungeon-crawler in a demo, complete with two dungeons to explore, which can be downloaded via the eShop shortly before the game’s release.
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl will contain the staple classic mode and story mode, as well as a “Picnic” difficulty option, providing players new to the series a step in the right direction with greater accessibility. Millennium Girl was released in North America earlier this month to a positive critical reception – if you’ve not yet seen the launch trailer, you can watch it, here. Will you be picking up the game when it’s released next year? Let us know in the comments below.
Um…yay for Europe?
That’s nice I guess, but fucking localise SMT4 for Europe.
And maybe Australia will get a one off shipment of about 50 copies for the whole country just like with Etrian Odyssey 4! Because it’s not like anyone wanted to play one of the highest rated 3DS games of the year or anything
Etrain Odyssey Millennium Girl is the best in the series in my opinion. I love it.
Good luck getting it mate!
Hurray! Today is now a good day.
Etrian Odyssey is surprisingly good. Atlus is keeping it real while Square Enix is bungling shit up like a no-talent deviantARTist with schizophrenia.
Reblogged this on Movi3 Madn3ss and commented:
I want this game really badly x3
Good news ! This series would gain to be more known in Europe, where almost nobody gives a fuck about it atm.
