Everyone’s favourite developer Retro Studios has teased on Facebook that their website should be getting a long overdue revamp sometime this year. Presumably they’re revamping it to coincide with the announcement of their next project, but this is just a guess. Retro Studios has mentioned in the past that they’re working on their next video game which was apparently started in November 2013, but when it will be announced remains to be seen.

I tried Metroid Prime 1 and 2 and couldn’t beat either of them. I’m just not fond of how they style their games, especially when it comes to difficulty as each of their games I’ve played has been unquestionably hard.
I’d say Intelligent Systems, HAL Laboratory, and Monolith Soft are my favorite developers.

I know you are referring to Tropical Freeze but who the hell is David Wise? He’s always being referenced when someone mentions the game; just curious.
He was the music composer. He’s done a few games like Star Fox Adventures as well as the aforementioned Tropical Freeze.
I wouldn’t call him my favorite composer, but he’s good.

I’m calling it: they are working on Star Tropics. For those of you that don’t know what it is, it is like Zelda on the NES but more refined and the protagonist is a boy that likes baseball. Hugs for everybody!

Duh. XP I said imagine if Retro did the game and made a Star Fox Assasult-like sequel on a grand scale of awesome and epic sci-fi segments with good online multiplayer.
It’s Metroid. It’s gotta be. You know Nintendo is not going to skip the Metroid franchise this generation, there is too much demand for the game. And the last games sold very well. So who else besides retro would develop it? New Metroid game 2016 release date.

Metroid was confirmed by Iwata as their next project forever ago.
Not quite, Retro said in an interview over a year ago, that Nintendo gave them a choice, either Metroid or another DK game, and they chose DK since they had a lot more ideas for it after DKC Returns. However it’s safe to assume Metroid was waiting for them after they finished DKC TF.
Metroid is what they are doing. Though we went 3 years before finding out about DKC TF….Don’t expect Metroid to be revealed till E3 2016. Even that would only be 2 1/2 years since they started. Originally it was Next Level Games working on a Metroid but it was “cancelled” probably due to the fact that Retro finished DKC TF, and Nintendo shifted it to them.

Since nintendo admits the disign of a new desktop console and since AMD speaks about a new gpgpu for a console in 2016. I smell an open world Metroid for wii U 2. Because I also remember an interview about an expanded metroid universe.
