Nintendo of America has confirmed that Splatoon will be playable at this year’s Apex event. The company invites attendees to get some quality hands-on time with the demo which was featured during E3 last year. Guess this is the surprise game we were all waiting for.

Splatoon just leaves some sort of…spoiled porridge in on my arm. There’s something about it, the way the characters jump and how many seconds it takes, is just worrysome. More like CoD I should say. The way they jump is a bit uncomforting. It’s a lot of worrysome.

I’m legitimately excited for Splatoon to be honest. I kinda forgot about it for awhile since E3 2014, but the recent Direct kinda revived my interest in it. Hopefully this and other games released by Nintendo this year will be good… No, great!… No, awesome!
I’m still skeptical about this game. Online multiplayer isn’t exactly Nintendo’s strong suite. I don’t think there has been a single Nintendo game that has supported online chat with strangers, and that’s a big part of shooters, given that it helps you strategize with teammates. This is a must if Nintendo really wants to make a successful online multiplayer game.

Splatoon at a predominantly fighting game tournament?…that made sense, I guess. Can’t wait for CoD to premiere the first DLC pack at APEX 2016, which WON’T make it to Ninty platforms >.>
