This week’s Japanese software and hardware charts are now in, but they are via Famitsu rather than Media Create. It’s the final chart before Christmas so it is an all important one for all three of the hardware manufacturers. Nintendo has stole the show once again this week with the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U. These two platforms proved to be the best-selling video game hardware despite the Japanese love for mobile devices. The Nintendo 3DS sold 147.688 and the Wii U sold 80.301. Here’s the best-selling software and hardware this week in Japan.

This is the Nintendo Season in Japan. It is tracking similar to 2013 Holiday season. If it does, then expect at least 100,000 Wii Us next week. That is if supply is still constrained.

Splatoon is to Japan what the GTA series is to North America and Europe, is now a franchise that has left a great everlasting impression on gamers over there that has become a major hit. It has remained in the top ten of the charts ever since it launched in Japan and has no signs of slowing down. If the Wii U is pulling a PS3 by finally fucking selling a hell of a lot better than what it’s been, it’s about god damn time. But I’ll wait til March when Nintendo actually gives us actual worldwide current lifetime numbers before I get my hopes up.

Wiiu has 4 top games which is making system so well Super Mario Maker, Splatoon, Xenoblade Chronicles X all of these games are best of 2015 in terms people who are interested in console gaming also on top of that then they consider to buy other Nintendo Exclusives and every time person buys a console they look at new releases coming out in coming out months then they think it’s good time to buy the system as more better games are coming lot of people are looking at Fire emblem, Zelda twilight princess HD, Zelda U, Starfox zero, Pokken tournament lot of people would buy it they can see the future of Wiiu is better in 2016, lot of consumers liked Splatoon for that game alone would buy it because it’s one of the best game of 2015.
Wow. So fucking sad to see that the ONLY reason Wii U (In Japan only) only sold that much because of Christmas. That’s it. This year’s line up is so pitiful I can’t imagine another console having a very terrible year like that.
