Rocket Company has released some more details on the upcoming Medabots Girls Mission title.
As per our previous post, the game will come in two versions “Kabuto” and “Kuwagata”, and will feature over 20 female characters. The task in the game is to win the Artemist cup and participate in battles with two Medabots each.
The new details reveal that there will be two new systems, the Hyper Finish and the Ogre Maxim. When you build up the special move gauge triggering the “Medaforce” special move and hit 200 percent on the gauge, you can trigger a “Medaforce Burst”. When you use a Medaforce Burst, a command window will appear, and if you successfully input the command on the screen within the time limit, you will activate the “Hyper Finish”. You can see a picture of the command screen below:
The Ogre Maxim will only be available once per fight, it increases the Medaforce gauge and drastically increases the performance of your Medabot. It also decreases the parts cooling time and increases the parts ability.
Medabots Girls Mission will be available for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on March 10, with no news on a western release date as of yet.
So, they’re trying to appeal to a male demographic with this right?
A teenage/young adult male demographic. Yes. This isn’t Medabots for girls it’s Medabots WITH girls.
