Disheartening news for fixated fans of Square-Enix’s legendary mid nineties role playing opus, Chrono Trigger.
Hiromichi Tanaka who’s best known as the lead developer on Final Fantasy XI laid the penultimate death blow to the revered franchise, stating that numerable difficulty’s assembling the cast of the original development team meant that the ambitious project is highly unlikely to ever surface.
Thats a real shame. CT is one of the best games ever. Just a pity Cross is still not out in Europe.
It’s a damn shame. SquareEnix devote so much friggin’ time to Final Fantasy, when what they should do is develope sequels to some of their other franchises, some of which were solid. Vagrant story, Parasite eve, Bahamut lagoon…
