Sega has announced that its lauded Sonic title for the Nintendo Wii will be seeing a State side release, February 2oth.
Taking its inspiration from the 16 bit glory days, this welcomed addition to the Sonic franchise places reliance on speed, rather than the lackluster rpg-alike elements found in more recent iterations of the series.
The infamous franchise has found itself under immense criticism from both journalists, and gamers alike over recent years, hopefully Sonic Team’s latest attempt will help regain public confidence in the ultimately penitent franchise.
yeah new games on the Wii would be great! but hey just a question to all that read this, do u guys think Wii’s novelty will wear off? cause there have been lots of ppl saying that they barely play PS3 and Wii due to lack of games… who u guys think will survive? i reckon the Wii due to the gigantic releases coming up whereas PS3 only have MGS4 and FFXII. but i reckon if nintendo on Sony wanna get anywhere they have to get somemore games coming through…
Let’s hope this game saves Sonic. It could possibly be the one 3D Sonic game that isn’t tat.
