The official Pokemon X account has recently posted footage of the much-loved Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire being played on unknown emulator. This has naturally sparked hopes of a re-release of the games on the Nintendo Switch which have been rumoured for a while. The rumour which came from Shpeshal Nick said that they were planned for late September or October for $20 each.

And they could have released this easily anytime they wanted to, even back on the 3DS.
Very lazy. Feels like they waited on purpose.
What we would really like to see is pokemon platinum at this very late stage in the game.
They 100% waited on purpose. They’re trickling this stuff out to optimize hype and cashflow. Nostalgia may seem like an infinite resource, but it isn’t.
