With Wii units hurtling out of stores at an unprecedented rate whilst PlayStation 3 units are laying dormant on store shelves, Sony continues to believe the two just aren’t in the same league.
A scathing Dave Karraker, spokesman for Sony Computer Entertainment of America, stated; “Wii could be considered an impulse buy more that anything else, but we believe the PS3 will be the console to attract hardcore, committed gamers, while Wii will do little beyond satisfying new and casual players.”
Perrin Kaplan, vice president of Marketing & Corporate Affairs for Nintendo of America retaliated to the undeniably vindictive comments claiming the Wii has turned the video gaming industry “all upside down,” whilst wavering aside Sony’s initial suggestion that the Wii is in high demand due to a lack of shipments.
what the hell r they on about turningthe games industry upside down they have sold well because of the lack of shipment, lol just one word for that bullsh*t
Sony are kidding themselves if they really think that almost 4 million Wii units were bought on sheer impulse.
Uhhh… I don’t get what “milskad” is trying to say.
But…
Sony SUCKS!!!!
sup Sickr! :) How’s everything?
Sony’s right. The Wii satisfies casual and new players, in other words a wider market. As for the hardcores, there’s always X Box 360.
I’ll reserve my bitching on Sony for now, as I went on a tirade here. Sony can suck on a nunchuk.
