With news arriving last week confirming Nintendo’s ambitious plans to raise the trade price of the Wii, many smaller gaming emporiums have been left shocked and disappointed.
Whilst it’s apparent large supermarkets and chain-stores will continue to stock the Wii for £179.99, smaller retail outlets are likely to hike-up the price of the unit. The current trade price is set to increase by £17, which Nintendo attributes to the ‘continuing depreciation of the pound’.
