Capcom Spotlight is currently taking place and the first game showcased during the presentation to celebrate TGS 2026 is the eagerly-anticipated, Mega Man Dual Override. The trailer showcased Proto Man, Mega Man’s brother, and both characters will be playable. It’s up to you which one you choose. Mega Man Dual Override launches next spring. I hate that I’ll have to buy the Switch Version because the Switch 2 version will 100% be a a Fake Key Card. I got a Switch 2 on Launch and every 3rd Party dual release I keep having to get the versions for the original Switch. This will probably be the last fully Physical Mega Man title. If so then it’ll be the last entry that I ever buy. Shame that they ruined the Mega Nan Classic and X collections on Switch, bought the ones that were fully physical though.
This will probally be the last mega man game for a while, we will probally get another one in 2040. So no need to worry.
It’s funny how these cheap asses have no problem doing normal releases on the OG system, but the exact same game is a key on the switch 2. Hopefully the original system stays around for a while still so we still have that option to actually buy a real copy of these cross gen games.
Same here friend. I didn’t pick up Resident Evil Requiem on any platform since none were truly physical. I already have enough games in my backlog to last multiple lifetimes and nany more yet to be discovered. If this MegaMan title is Capcom’S last Physical entry, then that will be the end of the series for me. I wont be purchasing the next PlayStation or Xbox. We’ll see what Nintendo does in the future.
The ps5 disc of Requiem is fine with no extra downloads required.
Pretty sure they are just boycotting PlayStation and Xbox.
I still only own a few Switch 2 games yet own hundreds for original Switch. Recently I’ve been picking up around ten to fifteen new physical releases for the original Switch every month. October is a big month though. I have over thirty physical titles all shipping to me from different sites.
