Nintendo of America have revealed precisely what games potential Nintendo 3DS owners will be able to get their hands on when the system launches March 27th in North America.
- Pilotwings Resort™, an aerial adventure featuring airplanes, hang gliders and rocket belts. Players soar above tropical Wuhu Island in 3D as they complete missions or snap pictures.
- Steel Diver™, a submarine game that involves strategy and combat. The 3D visuals give players the sensation that they are looking into a miniature aquarium as they control the sub’s speed, depth and pitch, and fire torpedoes.
- Nintendogs™ + Cats, a game that lets players interact with realistic puppies – and kittens – in a variety of fun ways. There are three versions of the software, each with different starting breeds: French bulldog, toy poodle and golden retriever. But in each version players can unlock and enjoy more than 20 different breeds.
Third-party publishers also have a strong slate of games ready to go on March 27. These include:

- The Sims 3
- Madden NFL Football
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D
- LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
- RIDGE RACER 3D
- Super Monkey Ball 3D

- Asphalt 3D
- Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D

Damn I wanted at least one of the games I wanted, like the resident evil mercenaries. Well the one that I may seem to buy will be Nintendo dogs/cats, that seems like fun to play with my nephews.
Wow yea talk about crappy line up. well at least that means it gives me more of a reason to wait fot a red ds to come out.

Why do people say it’s an aweful lineup? Just because it has no Mario or Zelda doesn’t mean it is bad. Pilotwings looks awesome, Nintendogs Cats will be popular, Steel Diver looks interesting, not to mention Super Street Fighter which looks like a must buy. Seriously people…..

Has everyone forgotten Nintendo’s launch window plan. At least 30 games by the time E3 starts (early June). The games you want could easy be among those, and not buying the 3DS at launch might not be a good idea if you remember what happened withthe Wii.
this line-up sucks. good thing i’m waiting for the RED 3DS and resident evil 3D. geez, if nintendo would push this back a month or two, this line-up could be better.

This lineup doesn’t exactly blast one away, but I am picking up my 3DS on day one regardless. I definitely don’t want to have a hard time trying to buy a 3DS when the games I DO want start to come out.
I suppose I’ll be getting Pilotwings as my first game. If the lineup had any Mario/Zelda, I probably wouldn’t even consider It. Who knows… maybe I’ll fall in love with the game, as it actually looks pretty fun. We’ll see.
Of course I’m picking it up on day one, but really the line up kinda sucks. Sure there are a couple on their that might be kinda good, but I wouldn’t know since I’ve never tried games like them.
I just wish there was something more familiar there so I wouldn’t be taking a risk when buying my first game for the console.
damn it looks like i wont be getting the 3ds on the launch i dont want any of thos games… haha oh well ihll just wait for zelda and mario kart my favorits ;D

No Zelda for launch but we should hopefully see it around June time.
According to gamestop the Zelda Ocarnia of time 3ds game will be out mid june and Kid iccarus will be out in august. Kinda sucks for the wait but i played a demo of pilotwings and it was great so im gonna get that with the blue 3ds. kinda want the red one but who knows when it will release…. probably a bundle with mariokart
