Japanese bikini and cosplay model/photographer Julie Watai has released a collection of scantily clad photos for Nintendo 3DS owners to download to celebrate the Western release of the console.
The photos of Julie Watai, which contain no nudity, have been downloaded a whopping 52,000 times and interest in the images show no sign of slowing as more and more gaming publications continue to report on the story.
“I’m a photographer and I’ve long been interested in 3D pictures. I wanted to see what it was like to use the game machine I’m most into, the 3DS, to display my photos!”

Isn’t the 3ds for kids and teens, this seems kinda wrong to put on a kid’s device… ummmm, no complaints though.
The 3DS is for anyone who wants it. Actually at the midnight launch I went to, I was the youngest looking person, and I am 18. There were many men that looked like they were 30 and 40 maybe 50
Probably so thye can get it for their kids, but still, it’s kinda wierd, im not gonna download them.
Dude the Nintendo 3DS isn’t only for kids. It’s for everyone. It’s a magnificent piece of hardware!
Ya…. I’m not downloading this. Seeing it in a game is OK (even the nudity in GoW is kind of OK) but I’m not going out of my way to download pics of some scantily clad woman.
Who doesn’t like pics of beautiful women with little clothing … in 3D?
