Resident Evil producer Masachika Kawata has told popular US gaming publication Nintendo Power that Capcom see’s the stunning Resident Evil Revelations as a direct sequel to Resident Evil 5.
“Unlike Mercenaries, which is all about shooting action, Revelations is all about survival horror, the very genre Resident Evil established,” said Kawata. “We actually think of Revelations as a direct sequel to Resident Evil 5 and it will be full of new, innovative ideas and characters.”
“We want a scarier game than before. One that avoids the style of Resident Evil 4 and instead goes with the old style up to RE3, where you’re solving puzzles and exploring.”
– Masachika Kawata, Capcom

Cool……
if they want it similar to the originals, they better not make it fixed camera. that style sucked.
damnit, now i have to get a 3ds!
This is ridiculous why would there be a sequel to a game that Nintendo did not even have.I really think they should make port of Resident evil 5 for the wii.
Okay, this is just silly? David, seriously?! Lol. You are a sad excuse for a gamer? Anyone agree?
