Sega have finally confirmed that Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is in fact real and will be coming to the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo 3DS.
Sega stated in a press release that the game will feature a whopping 50 different sports which include some of the sports found in the previous titles such as athletics, waters sports and table tennis, as well as new sports which include soccer and riding.
How many rehashes do we need of one mediocre game?
Many?
None of the Mario & Sonic Olympics games have been mediocre, they are well made and a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see an expansion of the athletics.
Great. I love shaking my arms erratically in order to succeed in unentertaining sports-related video games as opposed to actual sports. I can’t wait for everyone to throw money at this franchise again.
Hey. Sounds like u agree wth da Irate Gamer. The Wii version doesn’t look fun.
That’s one ugly Sonic. And what’s with Woody and Buzz?
I have only played the original Wii game, and I’d say it is a bit frustrating at times. But maybe this third game will improve on the quality of game play. It is a fun game once you know what the heck you’re supposed to be doing. Perhaps enhanced motion controls using Wii Motion Plus will help?
3.D.S. Yeah!
