Nintendo 3DS users everywhere are being encouraged to hold StreetPass meetups on Saturday, June 25, which has been designated Nintendo 3DS StreetPass Day by Nintendo of America. Nintendo of America has also opened a new site titled meetup.com/nintendo3ds to coordinate local, real-life meetups based on users shared interests. Anyone thinking of attending one of the many StreetPass event?

It would be great if Nintendo teamed up with a store like Game again, as they did when Nintendogs came out where you could get an exclusive dog from the store’s wireless. Do it every month – Brings people into the store and they’ll probably end up buying something.
What you suggested sounds like a great idea. Whether Nintendo Europe will go along with it is anyone’s guess.
Would help if they had an event near me. How the heck does Nintendo not have an event anywhere near Chicago? That just amazes me.

Also remember: StreetPass Community meet-ups aren’t strictly for 3DS-owners. We love to hold DS tournaments during these meet-ups as well. :D So bring your multiplayer DS games and have fun~
There will probably be nothing in the Philippines because the Philippines was not even a country option in the 3DS. :(
