Nintendo 3DS: The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time North American Pre-Order Bonus Revealed

Finally, we now know what North American consumers who pre-order The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will get; a Zelda poster. Yes, you read that correctly, it’s a Zelda themed poster that’s exactly the same as the one posted with this blog entry. Unlike Greece, who get a wealth of interesting special gifts, US customers who purchase the game from either Gamestop or EB Games will receive a poster to adorn their room. Anyone particularly disappointed with this pre-order bonus?

  1. FIRST!!! sorry had to
but i’ve known this for awile now… i saw on a website when i googled it but im dissapointed too much
btw i found out that with the 3ds… everything we do on it belongs to nintendo… credit cards, games, internet history… thats weird.

  2. Grr. No Ocarina = Preorder fail. Not that I’d expect any different from NoA.

Still looking forward to the game, though.

  3. I’m only really disappointed because I already have this poster, but I’ll reason with myself to put it up anyway. I already have a bunch of other Zelda merchandise, including an Ocarina of Time replica, so there’s really no pre-order bonus that wouldn’t somewhat disappoint me. Honestly I’m surprised we’re getting anything at all. -shrug-

  4. So it’s essentially the same as what the UK is getting. We both get posters. America gets the gold case as a standard, we must proorder for the gold case. :(

  5. I am extremely disappointed, because I wanted an ocarina. And in the poster it looks like the older Link is riding on the shoulders of the younger Link! LOL!!! :D

  6. They left us hanging for…. a poster??!! Ugh. Garbage, why can’t there be something worthwhile for a bonus? I am aware this is free and completely optional, but with something as lame as this, I’d rather them keep it and not have to throw it away.

  7. Well in the UK we get a different poster an a piece of card which makes the packaging basically look like the US packaging. So don’t act so sad an unique.

  8. I actually can’t find this preorder bonus on their website. From my google searching I’ve found that only in Canada will gamestop have that offer…. Am I wrong? I kinda want the poster if I can get it lol.

  9. LAME…. so very lame…. so many other countries get these great bonuses. I guess thats what we get for our devotion. Thanks alot for showing the US no love like usual nintendo.

  10. What? At least Mexico got a cool zelda shirt
…sure they were only 140 shirts for the whole country, but its still way better than this lol

  11. I’m just happy to see OoT updated. :D I already own an ocarina and my Zelda DS Lite case holds my 3DS just fine. So I’m cool with a poster. :D
Although I, too, can’t unsee big Link riding little Link. XD

  12. I got a tweet with the link to the site that revealed the Zelda pre-order bonus and literally sprinted to my computer, almost faceplanting on the kitchen floor.

Only to discover it’s a poster of concept art from the original N64 game. A poster that various retro Zelda fans probably already have because they just blew up the art at a photo shop in the same year original Ocarina of Time was released.

  13. Wow. This is incredibly disappointing. I’m genuinely surprised they’re even bothering to include a pre-order bonus as weak as this. It’s Zelda’s 25th anniversary for Din’s sake!!!!

    1. you might as well… it’s a free poster and there is no point in waiting for it to be released… what does that accomplish

  14. Wow… thats actually worse that the UK… We get a different game cartridge box with gold insert paper AND a poster… bad times

Apparently “idiot” is something you have in common with NoA. Try reading the article again, nazi.

Well.. when was the last time Greece (and any other landmass that is getting the goodie treasure chest) got a plethora of stuff from preordering a game from Nintendo? Yea it sucks that we get no awesome collection, but that’s ok. We got crazy stuff from nintendo before. Hell I remember when I got a feather pen stylus for Phantom Hourglass and I was like whaaat? So it sucks, but if ya don’t like it, just sell it at a garage sale and make $2.00 off of it..

  16. this is shit!!!! keep your poster NOA…so dissapointed at this, all countries get awesome stuff and america gets…a poster…uhm….sure…it’s not happening…we have to keep ourselves from preordering this, hopefully I’ll teach em a lesson for future releases….

  17. Yeah but is bs that version costs $94 so it aunt exactly the same as us price and also I believe the Australian dollar is worth more than the us dollar right now so yeah not a poor country

  18. I don’t know why everyone complains its a bonus most get the game regardless I ordered a ocarina separate not too much money I’m from UK so hey a free poster for a game I was going to get on release is a bonus
