Nintendo 3DS: Resident Evil Revelations For Nintendo 3DS Will ‘Blow People Away’

Resident Evil: Revelations producer Masachika Kawata has told the Official Nintendo Magazine that gamers will be absolutely blown away by the visuals on Resident Evil: Revelations when it launches next year. We’ve already had a small taste of what’s to come via the Resident Evil Revelations demo that comes included with Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. It will be interesting to see if Capcom can continue to set the standard for Nintendo 3DS games visually.

“The graphics on Mercenaries are some of the best you can see at the moment. We’ve been working really hard though to make sure that when Revelations comes out next year, that will really blow people away graphically.”

  1. the graphics of mercenaries are some of the best? stop kidding please, having enemies animated with 10fps and in 2D is ridiculous in 2011, I’ve played it for 5 min and I’m going to give it away for something else, I really wasted my money

  2. Okay…But I’ll take a return to genuine scares ala the original RE over the best graphics any day. If PS1-rendered zombie dobermans can scare me, it shouldn’t be a problem to make a truly frightening experience with the more advanced tools of today.

    1. I actually think that the graphical limitations made the monsters look scarier. Now they look realistic in a bad way, the unnatural jerking and movements along with pixelated mutated looks scared me more because of the bad graphics and now games scare me less with good graphics.

  3. Please add my 3DS friend code. There aren’t many owners here in Brazil…1504-5816-7891 . Thanks =D

    1. Yeah…people commenting on the merc. 3D frame rate are making me lose a nut… Seriously? You didn’t know the post was for revelations? You don’t think They know about the framerate issue? You don’t think they know we expect better than the demo?

      Idiots… Dear God…

I agree with whose post I replied to.

  4. That’s great. Good graphics is good. But what I care about most is gameplay and storyline. If this game doesn’t succeed in these two pivotal areas (I have faith it shall), then I’m not interested. Regardless of how pretty the graphics are.

  5. if it has only one save file and/or it can’t be erase no matter what they do o how awesome it looks i wont buy it.

  6. Who cares that you can’t erase your data on Mercenaries? I don’t buy games used so maybe that’s why I don’t care. I guess if you have more than one person in your household who plays it, that might matter.
