Nintendo’s press conference which takes place on September 13th will play host to Monster Hunter Tri G, Baten Kaitos: Silence of the Mechanised Son and Mach Rider Unchained, a dark racing-brawler. The news comes from a poster on 4 Chan via Neogaf who claims to work for the Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association.

Many of the 4chan rumors in the past has been proven to be true.

“Please excuse any poor English, it is not my language. I know things about Nintendo 3DS event on 9/13. There will be a big announcement. It is a new IP from GameFreak. The game is more action packed compared to Pocket Monsters and will have western sensibilities. It was meant to be announced at E3, and is kind of like Monster Hunter in a way. Besides that, Nintendo will showcase demo reels for upcoming games such as 3D Super Mario Land, Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus, and Luigi’s Mansion. The first three will get exact release dates solidified. They will announce some more 3D Classics, but I only know of racing game. I can’t remember the name, but I remember it not being a well known NES/Famicom game. Third party games will see announcement of new Final Fantasy title. It is a sequel to the DS Final Fantasy Side Story. Square Enix’s other titles like Slime 3, and Dream Drop Distance will be shown. Capcom will announce a new title, one is Rock Man (not Dash), and new game in Turnabout Trial. As well a montage of other games including Biohazard, Ace Combat, Medarot, Dragon Ball, and a few other games. There will be hints at new Pocket Monster title. But nothing outside of a logo or title will be given. It is made by GameFreak. I do not know if it is a remake or new generation. Wii U will be talked about in passing, but no announcements will be made.”

The Monster Hunter game doesn’t seem too farfetched. Baten Kaitos and Mach Rider? It would make sense for the powers that be to bring these two franchises to the handheld. I guess we’ll all know on the 13th!
Only time will tell. I’ve been hoping for the return of Mach Rider, just simply because there is so much potential in that character. Heck, Nintendo revived Kid Icarus, why not Mach Rider? Why not make a new Wrecking Crew or Balloon Fight? Potential is everywhere!
Finally! Some good 3DS games that aren’t desperately pulled from the N64 library.

Why is this listed as objective fact and news, rather than a rumor. Even if posters there have gotten a few rumors correct, 4chan can’t be considered a reliable source.

Prahaps a Starfox reboot could be coming to 3DS and Wii u. Or F-zero is coming to 3DS, or what i would like to see… another Metroid game? I can’t wait longer please be a Starfox reboot or if not, one of those other 2 games.

I certainly would not mind Monster Hunter on the 3DS, I need something grindy to play on it.
I’m not holding my breath but I will be a very happy kid if this is true. I love Monster Hunter. In fact it’s the most played game on my Wii. I would love to play it on the go for 3DS. I’ve always wanted to play Baten Kaitos as well. I wonder if they will put the originals on the rumored GC Ware for Wii U.

Then Baten Kaitos: Origins. This is the best news since 2005! :D I hope they make a Baten Kaitos 2 (following the story of the first Baten Kaitos) for the Wii or Wii U. :D *.* <3
