Level 5, the developers behind Professor Layton Vs Ace Attorney, has revealed just who will be providing the voices of the characters behind the eagerly awaited game. Professor Layton and Luke are voiced by their regular voice actors, Yo Oizumi and Maki Horikita. Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey will be voiced by respectively Hiroki Narimiya and Mirei Kiritani. All we need now is a solid release date.

Is it just me or does the Ace Attorney voice actors look as cute as their characters and the Professor Layton voice actors look just as boring as their characters?

That actually comes down to Level 5. Apparently Capcom were super intent on making this available outside of Japan, but Level 5 are the ones who need to be convinced. That is, unless they have been convinced and they’re waiting to say so until next month at their event.
It’s winning or has won the poll on the Level 5 facebook page so they may take that into consideration.
NA will get this. They allready started a huge Prof. Layton hype (been to a game store/Target?), and released all the Ace Attorney games in NA too. Mashups are marketing schemes to get people interested in the respective games. 5 Ace Attorney games, at LEAST 3 Prof. Layton games, they could boost sales quite a bit.
It’s the same scheme with Marvel Vs. Capcom, or SSB. Get people interested, sell more games. It’s a showcase.
I’ve never played Ace Attorney but my friends like it. I like the idea of combining these games! looking forward to give it a try!
