Metroid II: Return of Samus will be released on the Japanese Nintendo 3DS eShop this week. The game will be available to Japanese gamers on September 28 for 400 yen. Metroid II is expected to come to the West before the end of the year.

Metroid II was released in America so I don’t think localization is the problem. Nintendo takes their sweet time when it comes to the Virtual Console.
If it’s anything like the one I got from the Ambassador Programme I’ll give it a miss!

I’ll be buying along with 6 Golden Coins. I’ve waited years to play 6 Golden Coins for the first time and been looking to replay this Metroid game. What we need is Super Metroid though.

This game and Super Mario Land 2? Awesome selection of games to release Nintendo, put the Zelda Oracle series on there as well and you’ve covered most of the big name games people want on the eShop.

Awesome. Now all I need is confirmation of it coming to the U.S. Metroid is my third favorite game series of all time.
I’ve only heard its coming to EU later this year. Not sure about US however, It should follow soon after.
