Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has confirmed that Kid Icarus: Uprising will feature online multiplayer. Online multiplayer is something fans have been clamouring for since the title was originally announced and it looks as though we’ve finally got it. Kid Icarus Uprising comes out March 2012 in the West.

Glad to hear of the onnline feature, but I am sure an extra feature like that one is not necessary when you have a good story or campaing mode, wich I hope it’s the case with this game.

i hope the multiplayer is just like small… like it doesn’t get much time put into it, i’d rather have an awesome and long singleplayer campaign that i’ll want to go back to… and games today focus so much on multiplayer that it’s not even worth buying if you don’t have interenet connected to you console.

Last time I checked, Nintendo has a pretty good history of focusing on single-player, rather than multiplayer.

i hope so… so far i’ve only seen one gamemode which is the kills until a pit appears for both teams and then they fight to kill the other teams pit first… thats a good sign to me but more gamemodes is more replay value.. but i don’t want 15 gamemodes… that puts too much time into it… one or two gamemodes with 3-5 levels is good… and a long campaign with a good story… and a lot of replay value is good.
I hope its playable online! cause errors without a reason is KILLING ME on MK7!

I already knew this because if you guys remember the E3 video for Kid Icarus Uprising, it showed two teams(I think) and they battled. Kid Icarus is most like going to have AR cards.

brawl is not screw up that bad you just need great internet connection. When I get on it automatically find 3 people less than 3 min.

I have no problems with game having online MP in them. Sure we can have long single player campaigns, but once I beat them, I rarely go back to play them again (Like Super Mario Galazy 2. Superb game, but I never touched it since August 2010). Online MP helps keep the game fresh and more replay value.
