Popular UK retailer GAME has disclosed that it plans to offer fifty percent extra trade-in value on hardware for those looking to trade in their old console’s against Wii U. At GAME’s current trade-in values, the promotion would let customers receive £165 store credit for a 250GB Slim Xbox 360, and £150 store credit for a 320GB Slim PS3. Other promotions will apparently be coming in the next few days.
“We have three launch packages for the Wii U and customers interested in pre-ordering can do so in-store or online at http://www.game.co.uk for a deposit of £20.”
“Pre-ordering is a great way of guaranteeing a Wii U for the release date and our exceptional trade-in offer gives customers a massive 50% extra value on any console or handheld console traded in against the Wii U.”

It’s faar superior to the 360 already, its just some develooers “cant” program for it. The 360 held this gen back, the ps3 could last a good 2 years against the wiiu and 720, easily, look at the exclusives, they look tons better than any 360 games.
Other than that, every console is going to be dated due to PC’s.

I wouldn’t trade a PS3, but if you’re worried about Blu-Ray they’ve got ’em cheap at Walmart. Trade a 360 instead.

Seems a bit anti productive with Borderlands 2 being released this week, but thats actually a really good deal from GAME, normally they give you fuck all for trade ins.
Been following you UK guys and problems with game, Nintendo with the 3DS XL single handedly revived Game stores there; with the Wii U they are restoring a company and providing Job security for british people all the way from Nintendo’s base in Japan. Yet a stupid British tabloid said negative things about the Wii U. Morons I tell you can’t even thank a great company for providing taxes for untold services in the UK.

They unlike Sony and Microsoft came out and said they don’t believe in the philosophy of games being 100% downloadable only. Microsofty ( greedy soft ) are the ones that have been pushing digital download only the most, thus I dislike their company though I own an xbox360. Sony backed down after big bro Nintendo stood up for jobs everywhere. Gamestop is backing Nintendo like crazy now, even game informer had to do a Nintendo issue for the reason that Nintendo will help them continue to print their hard copy magazine :). The maker of pokemon a Nintendo company said pokemon black2 and white2 are on the DS do owner the 150 million DS owners for their customers loyalty. See why I like Nintendo ?

it’s funny how a 250 GB xbox 360 Slim’s worth more than a 320GB PS3 slim. Probably only in the UK. I love both consoles for different reasons and I’m still getting a Wii U just for the love of video games. They each have their nice exclusives :)
