Hulu Plus Now Available On Wii U

Video streaming service Hulu Plus is now available on Nintendo’s Wii U. Hulu Plus users can watch television shows and movies on either their TV screen or the Wii U GamePad‘s 6.2-inch touchscreen. Hulu Plus subscribers must pay $7.99 a month, but a free one week trial is being offered to Wii U owners.

      1. Yea I guess it wasn’t ready….or something. All I’ve read is that it would be there at launch…but maybe it was the UK launch so who knows maybe by the 20th?

  1. As long as I live, I’ll never understand why people wants to use their VIDEO GAME consoles to watch tv and movies? That’s what DVD and Blu-Ray players (and sattellte receivers etc). are for.

    1. It’s more convenient. All of the movies and television shows I buy are digital, which is why I love the fact that the Wii U is going to support Amazon Instant Video. Plus even if I still used discs, I don’t have a blu-ray or DVD player and I would find it somewhat troublesome to have to do manage yet another device in my TV, especially since there’s already two other things occupying the HDMI ports.

  2. I know this might sound weird but.. people are actually finding out that they can watch porn on their Wii U thanks to the HTML5 Tech…. does this mean we could be getting UPorn for the Wii U soon? XD

    1. You do know plenty of other people said the Wii U launch was a success because they sold over 1 million Wii Us in America in one day so yeah.
