The official Pokémon site has revealed today that an additional seven figures will be released on May 25, a month after Pokémon Rumble U’s launch in Japan. The news comes after information, published by Japanese magazine CoroCoro, would feature special passwords to obtain Pokémon, as well as the return of Shiny versions. The second set will feature Eevee, Mewtwo, Croagunk, Zoroark, Litwick and Genesect, plus one other additional but secret figure.
The official site has also revealed that Japanese fans will be able to use IC cards – their version of a train pass – to unlock random one-use Pokémon, which are placed on the Wii U GamePad, to help in a difficult situation. At the beginning of the game, your choice of starters are between Pikachu, Tepig, Snivy and Oshawott – fans will also be pleased to hear you can find a host of legendaries throughout the game. Make sure you check out the GamePad’s NFC in action, if you haven’t already done so.

Neutron is going to love these. He’d probably play with them in his “Barbie 2006 Dreamhouse” and hopefully something can entertain him more than his trolling.

Out of the 250-plus Pokémon NFC figures, there’s a possibility that you’ll find a Mew.
